What I Believe

• Local cooperatives and farmers are the foundation. The cooperative system begins at the local level, where relationships are built, service is delivered, and trust is earned with farmers every day.
• Local cooperatives deserve strong representation. Member cooperatives need a meaningful voice at the regional level so their perspectives, challenges, and opportunities are understood when important decisions are made.
• I am committed to being that voice. Serving on the Land O’Lakes Board is a responsibility I take seriously, and I remain committed to listening to our members and representing Region 2 with consistency, respect, and purpose.
• Regional cooperatives should create value locally. Land O’Lakes allows us to bring our businesses together to achieve scale, economic opportunity, innovation, and influence that can be difficult to accomplish individually.
• Our interests should remain aligned. A strong Land O’Lakes and strong local cooperatives should reinforce one another, with success at the regional level translating into meaningful value for members and the farmers they serve.
• The cooperative model is worth protecting. I believe deeply in a system that allows farmers and local cooperatives to work together, maintain local relationships and ownership, and build greater strength through cooperation.
