What I Believe
- Local cooperatives and farmers are the foundation. The strength of Land O’Lakes begins with the strength of its member cooperatives and the farmers they serve.
- Alignment matters. Land O’Lakes’ long-term success must align with the health and profitability of its members—when local co-ops and farmers thrive, the entire system grows stronger.
- A balanced fiduciary. I take seriously the responsibility to safeguard the financial health of Land O’Lakes while ensuring decisions translate into tangible value for member cooperatives.
- Practical innovation. New technologies, supply chain strategies, and other tools should help local cooperatives remain competitive in a rapidly changing marketplace.
- Competitiveness at the farm gate. Policies and programs should enhance farmer profitability and strengthen the cooperative advantage.
- Stewardship for the future. Responsible governance today must also invest in rural communities, young farmers, and the next generation of cooperative leaders.
